Final version
So thanks for checking out my first game. 100% free and long awaited (by me at least).
A small game originally made for driftwood gaming's 5th ADJam. The title is obviously an homage to drifty. Made entirely in RPG makerMV and using all RTP assets. I have since changed the font however.
You play as "Sam" a shipwreck survivor who along with the wounded ship Captain must try and survive on, and escape from a deserted Island. The game features are a day-night cycle, hunger and exhaustion system. harvesting and crafting and a lot of optional exploring and combat with an interesting story/history of the island to discover. You can play cautious and never fight or you can explore and find weapons and armor capable of allowing you to become the hero of the island. Several endings depending on the choices!
The original was not the game I had envisioned (made in 2 weeks and barely playable.). So I spent several months fixing, improving, fixing and improving until I am finally satisfied that it is a fun game worthy of peoples time.
Other then possible bug fixes and polish it's a finished work! When I am more secure that I have found all bugs I plan to port it to mobile devices mainly so my friends and family that don't game on computers can try it out as well.

Well as it's been a few years and I've learned a lot about what I want in a game I reworked this game from the ground up. I spent 3-4 months getting it into a much better place and literally changed everything in it several times.
All mechanics, cutscenes and dialogue. Every node you harvest and the entire crafting system. You might be able to beat the game in 20-30 minutes if you speed run it but if you search for every secret there are many hours of game play to be had.
10 achievements, 7 journals written by people previously cursed on this island and lots of treasures to be found! Secret Items and even a way to remove the curse so nobody else will fall victim to the curse of Driftwood Island!
